(Or, at the very least...know what to expect if you hire a Vending Location Company to set up your vending machine route.) Placing vending machines and consignment displays with local businesses can cost hundreds or even thousands of dollars if you hire a vending location company to place your equipment for you. The vending industry can be a very lucrative business and vending location services comprise a vast component of that industry. Any location company knows that you are quite capable of placing these machines yourself but vending locators presume at least one of the following to be true: 2. You dont have the time. 3. You dont think that you are capable of handling it yourself. Most locators learn all they essentially need to know within their first week on the job . I have put together a concise instructional on how to secure your own vending locations and set up your own vending route, and how to deal with (and what to expect from) a location company should you decide to use one. Its much easier than you probably believe to acquire the knowledge and skills you need to thrive in this industry; in fact, you may be surprised to learn that many of my customers ultimately became locators for my company once they learned how easily these skills are mastered! What clause you must insure is included in your contract. The most important step the one frequently overlooked by vendors or deliberately avoided by locators to take before you accept your locations and finalize payment. Realistic expectations and unexpected occurrences. The types of locations that you can expect. Are commissions necessary to secure a location? Do you know about working with charitable organizations? If you choose to secure your own vending locations — How to cold call The benefits of telemarketing and how to do it. This document is written in laymans terms and is very detailed...it wont leave you hanging in any area. There are good location companies out there and there are well, not-so-good location companies. Whether you use a location company or not, you will need to know how to secure your own locations in order to continually upgrade your vending route . A locator is an independent contractor and is responsible for all of his or her own expenses while on the road which boils down to TIME IS MONEY You DONT want a locator intent on trimming his or her expenses at your expense to pressure you into accepting an unsuitable location (then quickly moving on to the next customer). If the locator spends a mere three days in your town trying to drum-up potential locations for your equipment, how many viable business owners do you suppose werent even contacted ? What you DONT want is a wham, bam, thank you maam effort. This instructional will help you avoid the pitfalls that so many vendors have fallen prey to regardless of whether you elect to retain the services of a location company. It is a fair and thorough explanation of how the location industry works and how locations are secured. (I do not trash the location industry — but I do present a fair and balanced view.) If you are investing in a vending route, you cant afford NOT to have this information! A larger machine can be at least double that. This instructional is only $17.95 ! Think of the savings if you have several machines! You probably spent more than that in postal charges sending your paperwork back and forth with the sales company! This is not a scam. This is REAL information to get you on your way to saving thousands of dollars by someone who knows the business! Ive trained hundreds of locators over the years and believe me, if they can..... YOU CAN ! The information contained in this instructional will give you the basic operation of how a location company works regardless of the type of equipment that you have. The basics are the same; the particulars differ according to your machine and the set-up involved. The scripts and methods will work for just about any equipment…snacks, drinks, combos, countertops, bulk vendors, games and novelties and more. The scripts are the same ones that my company perfected over the course of 11 years in the business — the ones we used to train our own locators. We were one of the first national location companies to use telemarketing as a pre-cursor to securing good locations — not to finalize them. This document does NOT go into detail for scripting on the game or novelty machines or consignments, but the general information on the other items WILL get you started — or you will at least know WHAT to expect from both your location company and your locator, and what should be included in your contract. I do NOT cover payphones in this document. They are a bit out of my field of expertise, so I avoided that in order to not give anyone the wrong information about them. This instructional cannot be found elsewhere...it is my own publication and copyrighted. It is an online document and you will be given access to it immediately upon payment. If you are going to hire a location company (or want to do your own location work), you WILL benefit greatly from the vital information contained in this indispensible online document! WHY WAIT ? Customer Comments I've already made good use of many of the points that you mentioned. One machine manufacturer (name omitted) who does placements for $60/location doesn't even use a contract. They just say "we've been in business for over 19 years and we'll place 'em... we don't do any of that 'right of refusal stuff' " ... very scary! Thanks for putting together a very useful document. I just had a chance to read your report on Vending Locations that I purchased. I thought it was excellent; well written and informative. I just read your manual and found it very calming and motivational. A lot of good, crucial info in there that is helping me come to a decision and understand this industry better. Your instructional gave me the foothold I need to get started with some placements and/or manage and organize my own location team. Again, thank you - I appreciate your kindness and you've helped me a great deal tonight. I'm so glad I purchased this instructional! It should be required reading for anyone getting into the vending business. Email Vending Locations About Me Contact 256-348-3323 |
